初めてネイルポリッシュを自爪に塗ったとき、女性がなぜあれほど見せびらかしてくるのか、その理由が分かった気がした。
YOHJIオタクの同僚がしていたネイルをみたことがきっかけで初めたセルフネイル。初めて塗った黒のネイルポリッシュは無骨でかっこよく、キーボードを打つ指が目に入るたび高揚感を憶えました。知人や友人の反応もよく、SNSに写真をあげるとメンズから「やってほしい！」の声があったことも驚きでした。わずかな承認欲求を満たしつつ、今日もネイルデザインを考えています。おかげで眉毛サロンでギャルと同等のレベルでネイルの話をできるほどには好きになりました。正直ネイルでブログを始めるほどハマるとは思っていなかったけれど。
サイトはブログ兼ポートフォリオです。日々のネイルデザインを紹介することで、ネイルの素晴らしさを一人でも多くの人に伝えられればと思います。
世界観・価値観
ナチュラル、透明感、モード。メタリック、クロームなどを好んでしますが、そのときの気分を、色と形で表現する努力をしています。
伝えたいこと
– デザインをする楽しさ
結局デザインを考えているときが一番楽しいので、素敵なデザインだなと感じてもらえること、かつそれを私も/僕もやってみたいと思ってもらえたら嬉しいです。
– 自己表現の一つの選択肢として
自分の服装の系統はこうだから、こういうデザインが合うだろうと日頃から考え、ネイルをファッションの一部として楽しんでいます。ネイルは自己表現のひとつのカタチで、どれをとっても、その人の雰囲気や気分、価値観が表れるものだと思います。デザインを通じて「自分を表現する楽しさ」や、「自分の手を好きになるきっかけ」を感じてもらえたら嬉しいです。
これからの発信について
デザインを形にするまでの過程などを中心に発信していきます。
トレンドを追うだけでなく、自分の感性を大切にしたネイル表現を記録していきたいと思っています。

Starting This Project
The first time I painted my own nails, I finally understood why women are always so eager to show theirs off.
It all began when I saw a colleague — a total YOHJI fanatic — wearing nail polish. Inspired, I decided to try it myself. That first coat of black polish felt bold and effortlessly cool. Every time my fingers hit the keyboard, I felt a rush of excitement. People around me reacted surprisingly well, and when I posted photos on social media, even a few guys messaged me saying, “I want to try that too!” It was unexpected — and oddly gratifying.
Since then, I’ve been hooked on creating new nail designs, filling that small but satisfying need for self-expression. Now, I can chat about nails at a brow salon with the same enthusiasm as the girls around me. Honestly, I never thought I’d get into it deeply enough to start a blog about it — but here we are.
This site serves as both my blog and portfolio. Through sharing my nail designs, I hope to show more people — especially men — how great nails can be. Even though men’s nail care is becoming more accepted, I still don’t know a single guy around me who actually does it (yet).

Natural. Transparent. Modern.
I tend to be drawn to metallics and chromes, but I always try to express my current mood through colour and shape.
What I Want to Share
– The joy of creating designs
Designing is simply the most enjoyable part for me. If my designs inspire someone to think “That’s nice,” or even “I want to try that too,” I couldn’t be happier.
– Nails as a form of self-expression
I like to match my nails to my personal style — thinking about what designs fit the kind of clothes I wear. For me, nails are another form of self-expression. Each one reflects a person’s vibe, mood, and values. I hope my designs can inspire people to experience the joy of expressing themselves — and maybe even to start loving their own hands a little more.
Going Forward
I’ll be sharing more about the creative process behind my designs — not just following trends, but exploring nail art that reflects my own sense of aesthetics and individuality.
